After the Hierophant's defeat his cloak falls over revealing that he is actually two smaller birds stacked on top of each other as they both collapse to the ground dead, revealing that he or rather they, where not the divine all-powerful figure they where let out to be, and that this entire religion was nothing more but massive sham. Those of the old faith where then mercilessly butchered and even their eggs where smashed to prevent them from tainting Hierophant's legacy. His new religion was founded on violent fanaticism and sacrificial ritualism, and soon he ordered a complete abolishment of the old religion. Much of the Hierophant's backstory remains unclear, what is known however is that after the great war against the titans ended, he and his preachers rose to power over the northern mountains. He is an upstart religious zealot that preached for a new more violent religion to replace the peaceful old religion, and has since then gained a cult of devoted followers who proceeded to butcher any followers and teachings of the old religion.
